NPT
Treatment section:
A prescription will be required quarterly (with the exception of Methotrexate and Sodium Aurothiomalate which are required 6 monthly).
Monitoring is required during the last 6 months (Amiodarone monitoring will be required annually).
Monitoring section:
In order to qualify for payment under the NPT
Enhanced Service, patients will require monitoring (this includes either 'Sample sent to lab' or test results recorded within Vision) monthly with the exception of Amiodarone which is required annually.
IUCD
Fitting section:
IUCD Fitting – If this service has been provided under the enhanced service please ensure that you use the 'IUCD fitting enhanced service complete' option (read code: 9kA0.) in conjunction with either of the following options: - 'IUCD fitted' or 'IUCD re-fitted'.
If fitted by other provider (i.e. Family Planning / Other Practice) please record either 'IUCD fitted' or 'IUCD re-fitted' only.
